First BLTeae Project meeting in Marseille

A week long meeting took place in January 2017 to launch the BLTeae project which brought together teacher educators from Bhutan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Denmark, France and Estonia to discuss the training plan for the coming three years in the BL TEAE Erasmus+ Capacity Building project.

The meeting in Marseille was hosted by Ecole supérieure du professorat et de l'éducation (ESPE) of the Aix-Marseille Université who are the instigators and leaders of the project.

The first day's agenda provided an opportunity to hear about current teacher training activities and needs particularly in the Asian partner countries. The rest of the week included further familiarisation actions along with several opportunities to discuss the different tasks to be undertaken by the partners taking into account user needs and expectations as well as the diverse experiences of the different universities taking part in the project.
