BLTeae Moodle Introductory session at IIUI

Both BLTeae partners in Pakistan, International Islamic University Islamabad and NUML continue to be busy promoting the courses available on Moodle. During a recent session at IIUI, Prof. Dr. N. B. Jumani, team leader from IIUI and Dr. Sufiana Khatoom team leader from NUML led a session which was attended by the Chairperson of the Department of Education, Dr. Shamsa Aziz, all team members from the Department and students.

The session began with a presentation by  Prof. Dr. N. B. Jumani in which he gave an overview of the project and highlighted the importance of online and blended learning approaches in the teaching and learning process. Dr. Sufiana Khatoon described in detail the log in and learning procedures and explained how to get the maximum benefit from the online BLTeae modules and resources. Ms. Fouzia Ajmal in her preliminary remarks discussed the salient features of this project, work plans and activities to be done during the final phase of the project.  The Chairperson of the Department of Education, Dr. Shamsa Aziz concluded the session with a vote of thanks and appreciation for the resource persons, faculty members and students for their active participation in this event.
